Half of the building's mud mat has been poured (pictures below). This mat seals the site so that the reinforcing steel bar (rebar) does not get muddy. It also provides a surface for attaching the bentonite waterproofing. Once the waterproofing material is in place, the bottom rebar will be installed. After that, drain piping will be installed. Next, the top bars will be installed and then 42" of concrete will be poured. Columns and foundation walls will follow.
