Pharmacy Hall Addition News

• Final inspections begin with the 4th floor in less than 2 weeks – All inspections will be completed by mid June. Whiting Turner then has 2 months to address all issues.
• The current pharmacy practice lab, Fred Lab, in PH326 has been demolished.
• AV/IT/Multimedia is on track (schedule)
• Wood Paneling is finally going in on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors with the atrium to follow soon
• Carpet is in on 4th and 5th; Student Lockers are being installed;
• Over 300 persons are working on site each day.
• On May 24th, work will begin to gut PH 101 and reclad the exterior (there will even be windows!)
• On July 7th furniture will begin to arrive and will be in place by the end of the month
• On July 12th we will begin using the new entrance to the building to gain access to the existing building
• On or about early August the first three floors should be open to the public and training on the new multi -media systems will follow soon.
Faculty from PPS and PSC recently checked out labs in the Addition. Final inspection of the 4th floor is set for May 19th.

Workmen install ceramic floor tiles that will be on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Floor Hallways.

The curved window is part of the new Dean’s Conference Room on the 3rd Floor.

Progress continues on 6th floor laboratories.
